Resolution and Charter of the RA Empty Resolution and Charter of the RA

Post by Kolkatta Thu Mar 19, 2015 4:45 am

Dear The Countries of India,
We have found out the best technique to involve our region's nations in a fantastic role play.
The points are as follows:
>> We create a "Regional Assembly" (Now onwards referred as RA) just like our current WA.
>> It will pass resolutions just the way the WA does. Completely free & fair through polls only open to the residents.
>> The WA Delegate and the Founder would be share their position as "head". (Division of power)
>> The Four Cabinet Members would be its "chairmen".
>> All other countries would be its "members".
>> The chairmen would give their proposal to the RA head.
>> The Head would bring the proposal to the notice of general public with the help of polls.Yet the chairman who proposed it would remain confidential to the general public.
>> If it is accepted, then it becomes a resolution.
>> But this all happens only when the head approves. They both have a VETO power.
>> For Eg. If a proposal brought in by a chairman and is accepted by our WA Delegate, but not the Founder, then the founder may use his VETO power and that proposal would be "discarded" before it gets to notice of the general public and the official papers of the proposal would be burnt to ashes.
>> Proposals be submitted in a proper format.
They need to be submitted with a title and body.
Title gives an introduction and meaning to the proposal. Ex. "Licencing The Use of Toxic Materials Act 2015"
Body states its provisions, concequences, rules for all nations to follow if it is passed.
>> The proposal's main text (title with entire body) would be made public during the polls with the help of a regional fact book which, if accepted would be later merged into one single fact book containing all previously passed resolutions

Resolution and Charter of the RA Empty First Amendment to this Resolution.

Post by Kolkatta Mon Mar 23, 2015 3:28 am

>> If you are a General Member of the Regional Assembly and want your interests being taken care of or want your thoughts become a resolution in the RA, then take the following steps:

File a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) on the RMB with a proper title, and content ( what they contain are already discussed above)

Your PIL will be taken up by a chairman. He will make any necessary changes and forward it to the head. If they both agree, then it will be made in notice of the general public.

If a PIL is a victim of VETO, then the member who proposed it can ask the head to make a poll- Discard the Proposal, Make it to the general public.
If proposal gathers public support, then the VETO will be overruled. (VETO can be overruled only if it is a PIL, not the proposal brought in by the Chairman)
